Millers Point

THE PROCESS

The brief was to create a space that embodied a sense of wanderlust, layered with texture, colour and detail, inspired from european travels and hidden bnb’s.

Built in 1840, this significant home was amongst the first quality homes to be built in Millers Point, originally home to the Messrs.’ Fairfax and Kemp when they established the Sydney Morning Herald.

With the notion that behind every door is a surprise, each room was layered with textural elements and antique charm giving the home character and poise amongst its surroundings.

Also featured in Belle Magazine, we converted an old cupboard into a Moroccan inspired wet room as the ensuite to the beautiful Green Room bedroom. Using Tadelakt, Moroccan tiles as well as custom made iron, aged mirrors and vintage finds the bathroom wholistically captured the client's vision.
